Type of review

This radiator fits fine, the only thing that went wrong is my truck has air conditioning. The hardware they give for the fan and condenser was wrong. I had to use old hardware and file the nuts to fit. If I didn't have air conditioning in this truck I would give this radiator five stars.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Minor issues

This is important.

My rating for ease of assembly has more to do with the truck itself than with this product. The radiator is held in place by being wedged between all the things on either side of it, which in turn are bolted to one subframe bolted to another subframe bolted to something else. The radiator itself is the best and if I ever needed another I would buy it.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Very happy with this purchase

All mounting points were identical to the original factory radiator which I replaced with this radiator. Comes with a new clamp and flat nuts for securing the A/C condenser, transmission cooler and electric radiator fan. The plastic tips turned out to be the same quality as the original cooler. Everything went back with no problems. The depth of the core was about the same as that of the original. Very happy with this purchase.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

This has been driving me nuts for the last 6 weeks trying to install it. My mechanic ended up looking at the intake for me and found that the transmission line intakes are 2 different sizes meaning it will never work. The top inlet has a smaller opening where the flange seals the o-ring so the top line cannot be connected at all. Too bad, because otherwise it fits perfectly. I will contact the supplier for a replacement or refund depending on manufacturer error. I would like to get my truck…

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Updates

received the goods very quickly in 2 days. The item fit, but since it was a conventional radiator, one of the mounting tabs for the transmission cooler lines was missing. He also said it's for my truck but it has transmission cooler in the radiator but my truck has a transmission cooler that mounts in front of the radiator so it's not quite the same. but was able to leave the transmission cooler plugs on and not use them and then mount the transmission cooler lines elsewhere as there was no…

and that was good, otherwise I might be gone for hours.

I brought this radiator for my 2001 Dodge Durango and installed it shortly after delivery and less than a year later I drove the Durango maybe 3500-4000 miles last Saturday. something ran and to my surprise my newly installed cooler is leaking. I did a few hours drive last weekend and was seriously considering driving it but I decided to drive my pickup instead and it was fine or I could be away from home for a few hours with a new radiator spend that failed. Having to find the time to do this…

Luckily, the dents didn't lead to a radiator leak.

The product arrived with dents on the core of the radiator, these damages were clearly noticed during packaging. Luckily the dents didn't cause the radiator to leak, so in the interest of saving time I decided to just keep it and install it on the car, hoping the damage wouldn't affect the radiator's intended lifespan. The radiator itself was of very high quality. product, it fits very well in my truck with no problems and it is built the same as the original. I highly recommend this product…

Fits like a glove, works like a champion!

I installed this on a 2001 Dodge Dakota SLT, Quad Cab, 4.7L V-8 2WD. It comes with all the necessary screw clamps and mounting nuts, new rubber grommets on the top and rubber feet securing it to the frame. Only the mounting screws had to be reused. Everything fitted perfectly, stood up and clicked with no problems. I didn't have to make any changes. My truck is now running perfectly. And while I was there, I replaced my sickle. V-belt, belt tensioner, engine and heating coil completely flushed…

  • Cool product

Decent cooler: cooler

This is a decent aftermarket cooler. The original radiator in my Durango started leaking when the plastic plugs came loose at the end when the system was pressurized. I've done a lot of research on various brands of Valeo that are OEM Spectra etc, most of them have bad reviews for leaks and unsuitable transcooler lines. I chose Spectra, a common replacement part that you can get in a small family garage. The bix it came in was not only smashed and had holes in it, there was a 3 inch wide slit…

  • Everything is great
