Unfortunately the silver was corroded in several places and the underlying metal was exposed. It was a very humid and muggy summer, which is most likely the reason. I needed this for outdoor cooking. I was tired of flying shawls away on windy days so I stumbled upon it and was very pleased. lift them off the ground before they land in the neighboring yard! I inspected it well upon arrival and mine had no sharp edges or imperfections. It's stylish, not at all like the ugly outdoor plastic that cracks after a few good cooks. I would definitely buy another one without hesitation. The price was excellent considering the good quality.

I need a napkin holder that sits flat as I hate seeing napkins twisting or slouching in vertical napkin holders. This one looks prettier than the regular acrylic I've used over the years so that's a plus. It also matches my kitchen decor and is a good weight so it doesn't look or feel cheap to me.
