Speedball Modeling Paste

Pints of this modeling paste should last a long time. I like it more than other brands I've used. Not fat and not thin. If you carefully remove the stencil, you can get a clear picture. I have had really good results with this product. Would buy again.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons

Modeling paste works great with oils!

Speedball artwork is great. I have a model paste to apply the Pabeo FX colors to the canvas. It dries slowly but keeps its shape flawlessly. This is my first modeling paste so I can't compare. However, I have researched the product beforehand and it seems that everyone has had great success with it, as have I. I would really like a little more containers with it! Be sure to try it on a small canvas first. Another option is to use 3D GEL, but I use modeling paste and gesso to get more 3Dโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Highly recommended for artists

I used this model paste on several paintings during a painting class I took this fall. I received this item in very good condition and have only had good experiences with it. I used a palette knife to paint this on wood and canvas. It has a nice grainy and thick texture that glides on relatively smoothly. It dries out after a few hours and you can actually increase its thickness quite nicely. A 16 ounce jar is a decent size. I think I used it for a total of three paintings. Paste adds extraโ€ฆ
