5-Point 2-Handled Speedball Knife

Bought for DIY stamps (all blogs/books recommend the Speedball brand) - I like that it has 2 handles so I don't have to keep switching and relaying between advice. The ends of both pens (red and blue) unscrew so you can store the tips inside. Like the single pen pouch available at most craft stores, but at a lower price and with an extra pen.

Pros
  • Linoleum Scissors
Cons
  • So far so good

Two pens are better than one!

When cutting dies, it's useful to have two blade handles to make switching back and forth quicker and easier. The choice of blades is the same as the single handle, but for just a dollar or two, this set has an extra handle. I would recommend this set over the single handle set because of the convenience of having two handles and the slight difference in price between the two sets.

Pros
  • Emboss and block materials
Cons
  • Some bugs

Not as good as before.

I added these to my collection so I can have handles for every type of blade. They aren't as well made as the old school colored putty pens. They are thinner and not as gracefully weighted. But they still work, just without the nice feel of old-style buttons. Also the blade quality is cheap cheap cheap. The thin "V"-shaped splinter blade is gripped tighter than the old ones, and its sides cut through the linoleum, leaving a much wider cut mark than it should. This purpose of a thin blade is to…

Pros
  • Crafts and sewing
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
