👞 Sperry Halyard 2 Eye Blue Men's Shoes: Authentic Nautical Style for the Modern Gentleman Review

For years, Sperry has known for its quality and it still lives up to its reputation. The shoes are well made, comfortable and have good support. I'm usually reluctant to order shoes online but the sizes match up so I've ordered this shoe or similar a couple of times. The Halyard has the look of pumps with the comfort of sneakers. It's great for going to the hardware store or wearing khakis for everyday work.

Overall I think they are quite comfortable. Support for arches is minimal, so I'm guessing they're not great if you're having trouble with arches. Good for hot weather when I travel to Florida or Hawaii. I don't use them at home because boots are very necessary in my house. Perfect summer casual shoes or pumps. But these are not hiking or running shoes. You would think people would know that. ;) If you go without socks, you might need half a size smaller.

The insole has a thin layer of fabric and then a layer of 'memory foam' which turns to dust after a few weeks of wear. I had to remove the fabric layer, scrape off the crumbling foam, find a new top layer, and then re-glue the entire insole. Solid duties for a great looking shoe. Buyer Warning.
