Nice looking shoes but quite slippery

These shoes fit my 1.5 year old son well and are easy to put on. However, they have a slightly slippery sole when walking on laminate and tile, making them easier to slip and fall. Taking a closer look at the sole, I realized that some kind of felt material ran through it for reasons unknown. I have no idea what the felt is for. My wife took the shoes to a cobbler to have the felt removed, hoping that would make the soles less slippery. For that reason I don't trust them, as well as his other…

Velcro short, good width

It took me forever to find shoes that fit my little one at a reasonable price. It's more than I want to spend but they fit so we kept them and I was ready to spend the money. The pros are these are cute shoes, my almost 2 year old loves them and they fit his wide feet. Cons: The velcro on one of his shoes doesn't go all the way, so having the white velcro visible makes it look a bit odd. DANGEROUS! DO NOT BUY.

Save your child's teeth and buy something with matching rubber soles for running shoes. I'm not usually the type to worry about minor/possible but unlikely "hazards" in children's toys and clothing. However, these shoes are DANGEROUS. Period. Don't buy them. A layer of soft, fluffy material is applied to areas of the rubber outsole, allowing these kids' sneakers to slip and slide across the floor. They have no clutch and are EXTREMELY DANGEROUS.
