The top right metal tab fell out on the third use and is riding on a cord. I don't think this can be easily fixed. Leather doesn't stretch as easily as it used to when I've bought them over the years. I think I'll have to buy the wide ones here maybe a size and a half bigger. From a functional point of view, this is a pretty good shoe. Good traction. When companies produce overseas, they rely on factories coming and going, leather quality changing, and ups and downs.

After reading the reviews I ordered my normal size and also a half size up, but will take my normal size. The leather is soft and will likely stretch fairly quickly - based on my previous experience with Sperry shoes. The color is actually medium brown not brown and looks a lot better than the picture. Stitched well after 2 days of wearing. A bit small but they are leather and will stretch when worn. I had to remove the insoles during break-in to wear with socks. Sperry makes great shoes.

. When I realized I couldn't order a replacement in a larger size or width I decided to keep them and try them to stretch something with the strips. This is a work in progress.

The extra padding means these fast shoes fit snugger than they should for this size. I have a lot of Sperry shoes and some of this model that I buy half a size bigger.

The only thing to keep in mind is that these shoes are a little different than my other sockless pumps and are more comfortable with socks. Otherwise these are great shoes.

Perfect fit! The first day I wore these Sperrys, I walked them through a flooded basement and left my feet dry and comfortable. The next day they were beaming again. Also excellent grip on wet floors. Great shoes!
