I have three pairs of Gold Series boat shoes in my closet that are over 10 years old. As expected, soft-soled shoes. But they're still useful for kicking around the house. One pair is still perfect but due to health issues my legs were swollen and I had to get a new pair one size bigger. In three weeks, three rivets popped out on the side. I have had many pairs of Sperry shoes but this is my first pair in this style. I really like these shoes. The leather is durable, the workmanship is excellent, as you'd expect from Sperry, and the fit is good. Love the color too. The only thing is, with tough leather comes toughness. It will take time to roll them up. For me personally, the sock is a bit uncomfortable compared to other Sperry models. Again, I'm pretty sure they'll be gone once they get hacked.
