Love these tools! - Bead and Jewelry Making

These tools are the perfect size for jewelry making. There is a tool for EVERYTHING you need. I especially love the curved needle nose pliers! PERFECT! I recommend these tools to anyone making jewelry!

Bought this set (not knowing which one is better!) within a month

As a beginner wrapper I bought this set (not knowing which one is the best!) within a month it rusted. The tools are very hard and the inside of each pliers is rough, scratching the wire. Really terrible, even for a beginner!

Small but mighty for less than $15

Well what can I say. They are very small even for jewelry tools. But I paid for that. Honestly for less than $15 for a 5 piece set you would expect. I like having several of the same tools so I don't have to hunt all the time, and that fits the bill. I will update after use so you know how well they actually work and hold up.

' How good can they be at this price

I thought, 'How good can they be at this price? Well, let's find out." Wow. about 10 times better than I was hoping. Wire cutters cut steel guitar strings like they were cotton threads. All sponges are well made and perfectly aligned. No backlash, decent workmanship. won't loosen. I'm so glad I took the risk, now you don't have to.

Very poor quality even for such a low price.

I don't usually write reviews but I was so disappointed with the quality of these tools that I felt it necessary. For the price I didn't expect the blades to be the best but I did expect the knives to actually cut. None of the pairs in this set cut the rivets I use to make earrings and the rivets are not thick at all. Both blades do not fully meet at the cutting edge of the pliers. I could even slip a piece of paper between a couple's "teeth" and squeeze them as hard as I could.

NOT suitable for jewelry

VERY poor quality and NO jewelry. I wanted a few extra sets for study sessions so this would be for college students. Firstly, jewelry tools NEVER have nicks, this would damage the metal. That. Carvers had trouble cutting 22 gram craft wire. For example, they could not cut it. Get my Lindstroms from MY personal gear. If I had had the packaging I would have sent it back. I was very disappointed. I can't use them so it was a waste of money. These are household tools that are good for small jobs…
