I've tried Splendid baby clothes on a few different clothes lately and I'm not impressed with the quality or the fit. .On the plus side, the dress styles were very cute, which made me want to order them. I would describe these baby leggings as very basic, basic and thin material. The quality is ok. The material is soft and stretchy, all black without any embellishments or frills. They're obviously catchy since they're leggings, but they're looser than you'd expect. My 20 month old daughter weighs just under 25 pounds and usually wears a size 18 or 24 month in her panties. Baby and toddler clothing really needs to have enough stretch to allow room for growth. I was really shocked to find out that these pants are actually not that stretchy. Very little stretch from side to side or top to bottom. For your child, this means minimal comfort. In my opinion, if the baby/kids clothes are not very stretchy, you need to save your money and use it elsewhere. Combined with the lack of stretch, these pants are made from 78% cotton.
