Used these adapters to install 2 mini split systems. After lowering the vacuum to the correct micron level, these adapters had no problems as long as I left the systems overnight. Her vacuum was at the same level the next day.

Although the adapters are VERY inexpensive they come with a gasket which is very easy to remove. If you plan on using this once, NEVER use it again, it's excellent value for money. If you want to use them over and over again without realizing where that little piece is, look elsewhere. Branded adapters cost 4 times more per unit, but are more reliable.

Had to replace the plastic gasket (which came with the package), really unscrew it (by hand) and apply nylog sealant to ensure a tight seal. At first the vacuum didn't hold and from the imprint on the gasket I knew it wasn't properly centered. Everything worked correctly after this tutorial, but I think the material of the plastic spacer could be done better.
