Beware. Each picture shows 2. You will most likely need 2. All competitors sell 2-packs. That's only 1.

Just ridiculous. You need 2 of these to really work and use 1 wire to transmit the signal to 2 ports, one on each end. Each picture of this product shows a pair. All competitors are sold in pairs. I ordered this one. waited 2 days. When I arrived I opened the envelope. You only sent me one. When I come back I'll order from someone who specifically sells pairs.

This doesn't work for consoles (or maybe something else).

I bought this to share the connection between two game consoles on a TV. Only one console works at a time, so I figured that would be ideal. As soon as you connect two cables, even if one of the cables is not connected to anything else, the internet connection will be dropped and the console will behave as if the cable is not connected. To clarify, if you run a Cat cable into this splitter, then a cable to say to an Xbox and another cable plugged into a different port but not plugged into…
