Spring Notion Satin Zipper Medium Boys' Accessories and Neckties: Sleek Style for Young Gentlemen Review

I bought two of these ties for my boys who are performing at a wedding. One of them fell apart completely while putting it on. Somehow I managed (with the help of YouTube) to figure out how to put the item together almost correctly, and the bride's grandmother who sews was able to add a few stitches so that it would last long enough for the ceremony and photos. If you have a choice, buy something else. If not, and it's for something like a wedding, buy a spare tie.

This is the tie our son will wear to our wedding and I am crossing my fingers that the color will be turquoise as that is our wedding theme colour. It turned out to be turquoise and the right size.

They fit great and looked good until my son tried them on for the first time. It has a zipper that is used to loosen and tighten, it broke immediately. Unfortunately we bought a month before we needed it. When it broke the return window was closed. Proceed with caution if you decide to buy!

This tie was of very poor quality. The packaging looked like it had been returned by someone else. The seam is already torn at the back.

I have 2 of these for my son to wear to his uncle's wedding. Our oldest son has a severe form of ASD. He doesn't like things around his neck. But he loved wearing it. It was easy to put on and take off, and it didn't bother him. True to size, fast delivery. It is recommended to wash them by hand.

My son wears it to school. He likes the color and I like not tying his tie. Looks MUCH better than the clip. If the tie stays in the collar, it cannot be said that it is not a traditional tie.

This tie was purchased for my 12 year old for my wedding. She's shorter than most 12 year olds so I thought this tie would be perfect. As I said, I ordered a large one for a 14 year old. However, when we received the tie and he put it on, there was no way he could be under 14. The tie does not oversize the front like the average tie should. This is much shorter than where the tie should sit. I suggest evaluating.

Well, I confess, when I ordered this I had no idea what a zip tie was. I bought it because it was the color I wanted for my son. As soon as it was delivered I opened it up to check and HOLY WOW! This thing is a game changer, so much so that my 4 year old can tie his own tie and I don't have to worry about re-tying it! Bought it for a wedding. My 8 year old felt very smart in this tie! He told me about the zipper design so we searched and found it on ebay. The zipper is a little "sticky" so I don't think it will stand up to frequent use, but how often does a kid need a tie? The color was exactly like in the picture.

The tie looks very nice. Unfortunately, the zipper does not work smoothly. My son wore a tie for the first and only time to a wedding last weekend. The zipper broke while getting dressed, but we pinned it for the ceremony. Then the zipper won't open. So the tie didn't even wear. Very disappointed.

Very nice fabric, easy to use, looks great. It's a little shorter than I expected (see photo), I ordered 10 years old and chose the size based on the chart - I would go up a size if you want more length.

In general, the quality corresponds to the price, but the zipper does not keep the tie around the neck. I have to keep readjusting and moving it to tighten so there is no gap at the top. There has to be some kind of locking mechanism holding it in place. Really annoying!

The title of my review is a huge product error. And that's because he is. Don't get me wrong, the material itself is great; feels good and looks great. BUT the only problem is that there is no way to fix the tie. I don't know how it got overlooked. You can have the coolest tie, but if it doesn't stay in place, it's unwearable and essentially useless.
