Not sure if they make a difference. I didn't really notice a huge difference and they were installed within a few months. I wish there was a way to say that.

the product works great! I chose this over the replacement filter model because it looks great and has no removable parts to leak. I definitely recommend it.

Doesn't remove chloramines, skin smells like swimming pool, doesn't help. I need a filter that actually shows it's capable of removing this nasty chemical.

I like it a lot. it really filters and purifies the water. I can take tap water and water from this filter and the water in the filter is much cleaner than tap water. filters and chlorine. so there is no more coughing in the shower due to evaporated chlorine.

I've been researching shower filters and tried this one for a few months and it continues to work great. You have to reverse to have it washed off after 6 months (for a family of 4) but we are a family of 2 and haven't done that yet. When I mention a shower filter, people think it's stupid until I tell them it filters out chlorine, which is a poison for breathing and skin contact.
