Only work with it for a few weeks before the plastic zipper stops working. Very disappointed. Also, he doesn't work much. My very small 5 year old could wear a size 5 now but wouldn't be working next year, I didn't think it would fit an average 5 year old.

That's a good jacket. However, this is not an MN winter jacket. It works in fall and spring and may be suitable for warmer winter days.

My 5 year old is smaller but size 5 fits him well with a little more room. The jacket feels very light - you can feel the insulation but it's thin - so I really hope it's as warm as advertised.

I bought 2 of these for my sons aged 13 and 11. We live in northeast Ohio. My sons have asked for a coat that they don't have to fight for as long as they wear a hoodie or fleece. This coat is perfect for that. They say they are warm and appear to be water repellent as we have had a few rainy days since the coats arrived with no problems. I would buy this again.
