My little grandson slides forward and ends up leaning forward causing the swing to lean forward and not swing very well. While it doesn't tip over completely, it doesn't feel as comfortable or enjoy the rocking as much as I was hoping. Putting a small pillow between his chest and stomach keeps him in place better, but given the price of this swing I don't think any changes are needed.

We bought a playground set for our children. It comes with a regular swing, but my youngest uses the bucket swing, like the city playgrounds. I chose this one because it can be delivered the next day. I am very happy. It looks and feels like a swing set in a city park. It's nice and deep so my child feels safe. The chains are very long, as in the photo. Better too long than too short. I'll trim everything except maybe 3-5 extra links. Overall a good buy.

Our 2-year-old granddaughter loves loves loves her swing. We also bought a frame from Revain. The swings are amazing. No more queuing at the park to wait for the swings. Now she can swing whenever and for as long as she wants (which sometimes tires the nanny and dad as she will stay on her swing for hours if we let her). a few minutes before lunch or dinner makes it a lot easier to free them without too much fuss. The joy you get from this swing is worth a lot more than what we paid for.

Unacceptable failure in quality control process. This is a children's specific product and somehow left the factory with a metal wire protruding from the child safety section of this swing. I realize this is most likely an isolated event, but as a consumer I'd recommend doing a quick wobble test before first use to make sure you're not having the same issue. As for the factory in China, management needs to step up its monitoring program to ensure this doesn't happen again.

I recently bought a swing that comes with an infant carrier seat. Although the shape is the same, the quality of the squirrel is much better. For those who ask how tough they are, the answer will be subjective. It's not "hard" plastic compared to something like those awful old school seats from the 70's and 80's. It's not soft plastic like a tie. Somewhere inbetween. It is a very durable and somewhat pliable plastic that feels like rubber. You can bend it a little but it needs to be a little…
