Why didn't I know I should buy a home button kit?! Do yourself a favor and buy one that comes with a home button already attached so you don't have to try and use the old one! My home button doesn't work properly, I messed it up somehow. Who knows🤷🏼‍♀️

It was a pointless purchase. The screen came with no instructions. Thank god for youtube. I got to the very last step only to have no button in my package. Buttons are attached to the screens. This one didn't. Now I have an unusable iPad. Ridiculous!

The part did not fit. I took it to an iPad repair shop and they told me the part was bad. After installation, the screen was faulty and moved by itself. So I bought this BAD PART and then had to pay a repair shop for a good screen. There's no way of knowing what's good until you install it.

No instructions included or YouTube link for instructions. Doesn't come with screen cleaning tools or a rag to wipe things down when you put it back together. Be careful as the video I watched and noticed didn't mention anything about the home button and how best to deal with it when you capture the screen so mine broke and now I need this one Part. I've assembled iPhone screens, but it's a lot more painful.

I bought this screen when my kids broke the glass on their iPad. Well the day has come, pulled out and inserted the replacement and went to the home button to install it. This replacement has the ribbon cable on the glass where the home button makes its connection. Not there and looking like a clean cut! Terrible quality control to make this happen in a non working condition. Very disappointing. Get quality elsewhere.

With rounded edges, it practically fits your device. 6 layers of protective micro-thin glass, but you can't even tell it's there. Easy installation? Absolutely. He doesn't even scratch. This is my seventh digitizer replacement and first for iPad3. The main difference is that the home button has to be removed from the old screen, which is a bit tricky but doable (check out some YouTube videos). The digitizer cables run weirdly, so it took me a minute to figure out how to place the home button cables myself. The correct way is to attach it to the top, but DO NOT remove the film from the screen and cable until you have finished the assembly and are sure everything is in order…
