HDMI port issue

I bought this adapter specifically because it has an HDMI port and 2 Lightning Bolt (USB-C) ports so I can connect external hard drives and an extra monitor . This works well enough BUT my external monitor keeps turning off for a second or two before the image reappears. It probably happens every 5-10 minutes. I've tried this with a few different external monitors and the same thing happens on all of them. Otherwise it's great.

Slim and Efficient

This stylish adapter is a must-have for anyone upgrading to a new Thunderbolt-only computer. My new MacBook is great and the connection is fast. But with this adapter I can use my USB devices that don't need speed.

Let me use my USB SSD on my phone

I have a few USB SSDs, one of them is a 3.2x2 USB enclosure with 2TB NVME inside. My phone can read my other 3.2 SSDs but not the custom one. I first bought an Anker hub which allowed me to use the drive about 2 or 3 times before my phone stopped recognizing the drive for some reason. I decided to try this one and it works great, it seems to be slower than it should be, but I also only use it on my S20 and I just like showing my USB drives on my phone and it allows me to be able to do this. Cable size matters

I was so happy to get this USB-C hub. My excitement turned to disappointment when I opened the package. The first thing that struck me was the incredibly short USB cable for connecting to a PC or laptop. Must be 4 inches long or less. If you plan to connect this USB-C hub to your desktop PC, forget it. The cable just lets it hang on the USB port. Also, there are no rubber feet or anything on the edges of this device to prevent slipping. It's the perfect puck to go with LOL! Playing flip flops…
