I've been using St Ives collagen and elastin - on and off - for more years than I can remember. They may have rephrased it over the years, but I never noticed. I thought I would buy the same product that I have been using for 30 years. However, the ingredients are now such that the most important of all, collagen, now comes last. This is not the same Timeless Skin product it replaces, with a heavier, oilier consistency that also doesn't absorb well. Collagen and elastin have moved to the bottom of the ingredient list, perhaps kept to a minimum. The potentially toxic preservative phenoxyethanol has moved from the bottom of the list to the middle, raising safety concerns. This is not just a "rebranding" of the product. This is a different and probably a lot cheaper formula trying to milk St Ive's old reputation.

I like the original formula but was disappointed with this new product. don't agree with me The UPC on the new product is the same as the old UPC, making it impossible to know in advance what you will be getting. Add to that the fact that it's non-refundable, which makes it a complete flop in my opinion.

I have used this product for many years and it has been perfect for my sensitive skin. I thought it was just a packaging change but the ingredients have changed too. I was definitely taken aback as I had been using the product for 3 days and my skin was burning. It burned and I couldn't rest. My face hurt like the sun had burned me.
