Anyone looking for a silver-grey hair clip should not buy this hair clip. They are more of a bronze grey. I found others in the same color for less at a discount store.

I can't comment on the durability or value of this item, but I can comment on the color. The description says silver, I thought it was the color of stainless steel. To me they are more pewter, darker than silver and don't match the hair color of the person I bought them for.

was looking for silver bobby pins at my local retail store. there was no silver. Her lightest color was blonde and she was light brown/gold. I am very pleased that silver is offered at Revain. I ordered immediately. got the package as promised. but they were NOT silver. They were the same color as in the store. My hair is a combination of silver and white with a bit of dark. These pins stick out like a sore thumb. There was a silver mark on the packaging, they are not. Big disappointment.

Good quality. They are really grey, not silver, which is what I was looking for as my hair is whitish on the sides and salt and pepper on the back. I still buy brown ones to use on the darkest parts of my hair.

It's not silver. They are dark grey. This would be perfect for someone with dark hair that goes gray with salt and pepper. But I have solid white streaks in my salt and pepper, so I need a lighter gray to blend in with the white areas. They were too dark.

Believe it or not, I bought these for a friend to darn stockings. She looked for them everywhere. (If so, you know that all you seem to find are regular colors.) She has curly hair, which she tames with it. I think she liked them more than her other gifts! Simple but great stuff when you use it.
