These are really nice shorts for everyday wear at home. It's one of those "I have to wear something but I don't want to wear anything" shorts. It's great for indoors without getting hot. This is a great gift that no one will feel when you wear it. Being a size 30-30 I found it too big for a medium size and thought you should downgrade it by one.
