🔪 Wooden Handled Stainless Butter Spreader Review

It's funny how some people find fault with these knives/spreaders. I love my. Firm enough to cut through hard butter and cheese, yet flexible enough to spread peanut butter on soft bread and cream cheese on a bagel. I guess I could probably easily glaze a cake with this, but then again I'd have to be someone who bakes to test that theory :-)

I was very impressed and surprised by these butter spreaders. I thought they might be "cheaper" before they arrived but they seem to be quite sturdy and I particularly like the jagged and fairly sharp edge each has on one side to make cutting easier. Also, I was happy to see that this size is slightly larger than I expected. In fact, their size and sharp edges make them sandwich cutters rather than oilers. A good multifunctional kitchen necessity.

Glad these butter spreaders arrived, I really missed mine. I've had one since the 1970's, yes I said 1970's, and it's moved with me about 8 or 9 times, been washed in the dishwasher a million times and still looked great. Then came this move and I couldn't find it when unpacking in my new apartment and was really devastated; find out. I've searched all the stores to find oil distributors and nothing, nadda, zip, and if you can't find an oil distributor at Target or Bed Bath and Beyond well…
