Cuts like a knife and spins a bit, but even peeling a cucumber requires quite a bit of movement. The blade is straight, which is what causes most of it. I wish it had a more curved blade and something flatter and more twisting. Although very durable.

This is a great cleaner, but I have good cleaners. I bought it because I wanted a nice sharp front end of the same tool for gouging out eyes and bad spots. The tip is so blunt that it won't dent even raw potatoes. upset. Otherwise it's a good scrub.

This is a very sharp potato peeler and works really well with mangoes. He couldn't touch the apple because the handle at the end of the blade was in the way all the time. Also, you can't clean one side of the knife because the handle gets in the way. It works so-so so the shell doesn't fly all over the place. I would not buy this design again.

Very elegant looking but this is a VERY INEFFICIENT peeler. Carrot skins get stuck in the blade all the time and you have to keep stopping to wipe the blade before it gets clean again. Whoever designed this peeler didn't waste time peeling carrots. I prefer cleaning efficiency to ergonomics and buy a simple, old-fashioned cleaning machine because it works!

Heavy weight for this knife. Matches my other stainless steel cutlery. I like the "lid/shield" that keeps the peeled skin from flying away. I like the long blade that removes a large area of skin resulting in a faster clean. Used this on three mangoes that were fairly ripe but still had the skin peeling off fairly easily. Highly recommended.

I ordered this item because it is listed in the photos and description as "Material: 430# Stainless Steel" with no tags/color/stickers. I received the cleaner and it has a "Mark 01" tag painted/pasted on it with some sort of white paint/substance. This label is not shown in the photos and is not listed as a material in the specification. The list is accurate. The vegetable peeler appeared to be very durable and heavy duty. Unfortunately, I don't want to eat white paint that contains unknown…
