Bougie Upgrade - Drinkware

We've been making ice water for the dinner table in an old coolant jug for too long. now it's like eating in the square every night. it holds a lot of water and ice and keeps everything cold for a long time. The ice guard works too well, nothing goes through it because it's wide.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Hard to say

Outstanding stainless steel jug

You only realize how difficult it is to find a good stainless steel jug once you have tried it. Every pot I've found in the store is made out of cheap plastic and doesn't hold up at all. The jug is wide enough for my large hands to fit and empty and the price was perfect for the load. Very satisfied.

Pros
  • Brilliantly crafted
Cons
  • little things

Love this pitcher best in serveware

I love this pitcher. So many that I immediately ordered a second one. I drink tea that I make myself and I needed a pitcher that could hold the boiling water instantly. The pot is very robust, but not heavy. The price is great. I figured if it was good enough for restaurants then it would be perfect for me, and it is. I also like that the tea colors faster in a steel pot. Excellent purchase!

Perfect, gets the job done

Really like this jug. I make a new pot of iced tea in it every day. Easily tolerates boiling water and rapid cooling in the freezer or the addition of ice cubes. Very easy to clean. It's almost a year old and still looks brand new with daily use and countless washes (by hand). Sturdy and strong. If necessary, I will buy more without hesitation.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Annoying

A simple solution. Good product.

I bought this mainly to make iced tea. I like to brew tea with hot water and then cool it down. After breaking a supposedly safe glass jug and cracking a plastic jug from an iced tea maker, I made the investment. zero regrets. I can do 2 liters at a time and it's perfectly safe. (Well, except for the cut on the back of my hand from the part that's supposed to keep the ice cubes from falling out. Be careful when you wash it.) We also use it for the water jug.

Pros
  • I'm holding my fists
Cons
  • makes me angry

Sturdy well made jug

I also bought a UI 3 liter jug with ice guard. I like the guard that keeps the tea bags from falling into the jar when pouring, but got this because it's difficult to clean around the guard and I was concerned it would eventually rust (not yet, but an earlier one purchase of a similar Winco product). . At the time of purchase this was cheaper than the one with the guard but if I had to buy it again I would go with the one with the guard as it suits my purpose better.

It may not be stainless steel

When it arrived I first went through my orders to see what it might be. Let's just say the standard white box, wrapped in duct tape like a maniac drove it around town and completely battered, looked a little sketchy. If it wasn't in a regular Amazon box I wouldn't be able to open it. I opened it up and it just can't be stainless steel. Very light, very cheap. It's my first day now and I'm not even sure I'll be using it, but I would take the rust reviews seriously as I just can't see how this…

Robust, light and large - ideal for a large family

I LOVE this. We buy milk in 1 gallon jars straight from the farmer so it makes a great way to serve our milk. We use it daily. The only thing that would make it 5 stars would be if the "dent" in it was a bit deeper for pouring. I like that it's not plastic and doesn't break. won't break. He is tall! I can fit 3/4 gallons in if I want. However, it doesn't appear to be any larger than my other jars, which hold less. I would have liked a deeper filling hole. I would prefer if the entire border…

Cheap and lightweight alternative to plastic

I use it as a water jug by my bed. I use many pitchers to fill dog bowls, water plants, fill a coffee maker, mix orange juice, make iced tea, etc. I really like this pitcher. It's as light as plastic jugs and has proven to be excellent in terms of durability. It also has a mysteriously small footprint and is shorter than plastic pitchers of the same capacity. In fact, it seemed so tiny that when it arrived I doubted its capacity, so I got out the measuring cups to make sure it really was…
