Works great with Fine markers

I originally bought the Fine gun out of concern about the hole size inside. one does. I also bought a box of finely labeled spikes. When I used the fine barbs in the skinny gun, the thing jammed immediately and it took me 15 minutes to get the barb out of the needle. I returned the gun for a refund but I had a box of 10,000 barbs. I took a gamble that the thin serrations would fit this gun and in fact it works great! Since the gun was brought to me, I've been driving into town to get ready for…

Pros
  • Compatible with Dennison Mark III, Patriot, Freedom and similar marker accessories
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

How do so many people give this thing 5 stars?

This is my third marking gun. I use them twice a year for commission sales, so I don't use them very often, but I have some experience with them. I have been in consignment sales for over 5 years. My other two marking guns have been used on a few sales and both have jammed over time. I knew this one was cheap so didn't really expect it to be heavy but figured if I get some sales it'll be worth it. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to successfully tag even a dozen articles with it. It got stuck…

Pros
  • Smooth Trigger Action
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Excellent goods! suitable for office and school supplies

I bought this as my first marking gun. That works great. As another reviewer said, there are no instructions included. However, I found an instruction video on You Tube and loading the gun is very easy. Maybe 1-2 tags from each batch don't stick to clothes and tags, but that's usually because the needle doesn't penetrate both to the end. Another reviewer mentioned some issues and the need to keep marks when using a pistol, but that doesn't apply to me. Maybe there is a difference in the quality

Pros
  • Sturdy
Cons
  • Expensive
