Works as expected

I won't know about durability until I've used it for a while. Would like to find a slightly lighter 4-6 oz hammer for smaller jobs.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • I'll write back

Works best with power and hand tools

One piece hammer. I use it a lot when I'm worried about ruining a finish. I also like the weight that I can use with my woodworking chisels. This is an excellent choice and good value for money.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Available in white only

Nice hammer but face is not flat

Nice hammer but face is not flat, very uneven from injection molding. If you want to use it for sheet metal, you'll need to grind the edges to a flat surface.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Very happy with this hammer

Very happy with this hammer. I bought this to put square wooden dowels in a craft table and the weight is just right. I've since found many other uses for it as well. Good price for a light hammer.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

The first one was defective, hard to believe.

The first one was defective. It's hard to believe the hammer could be defective, but the head wasn't set perpendicular to the handle, so every time you picked it up you hit either the front edge or the back edge of the hammer's surface. The replacement hammer was correct and mounted so that both sides of the hammer were at 90 degrees to the handle.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Available in white only

Overall good hammer

Although this hammer is made in Mexico it has a good head to handle weight ratio. I use it for small, delicate projects. This hammer fits into its own category between small, lightweight sledgehammers and a 26 ounce hammer. all-purpose hammer. It is of good quality and practical. A small pound project, if you will. Yes, keep this tool in your tool box and/or car for those delicate beats. I recommend it to those who need a light, comfortable tapper.

Pros
  • Excellent overall
Cons
  • Doubtful
