Not worth it Best of hand torches

Battery burned out after a few uses! Cannot change anything to download. I like the trigger grip compared to the one I previously bought where you push a button to lock it (which still works btw). Aside from holding the shutter button so the light stays on, I've wasted my money completely.

  • Great price

  • Some flaws

Good for critter hunting

My aging mum regularly fights critters trying to eat her chickens. After her former light went to god I bought this to get her back in action. Armed with that flashlight and .22lr, she hasn't lost a single chicken yet, but still mourns the loss of a tire from a wheelbarrow and a bucket of water.

The Owl Spotter - Handheld Flashlights

A brilliant headlight that shoots as far as the eye can see. I point it at the side of our house from 100 meters away and it illuminates the entire side of the house. I mainly use the Stanley as a headlight when I'm pulling out 2 small Maltipoo's at night. Definitely bright enough to see owls in a tree 100 meters away. Here is a photo of an owl from 30 meters away.

Best way to spend my money on hand torches

I bought this lantern for my boat. I followed the instructions to charge the flashlight for the first time. However, after a few months it stopped working properly. Thinking it was the battery, I charged it again. Turns out he had no charges. It only lasted a few seconds and then kept stopping. Wasted money, very disappointed in this product. Stanley products don't fail right out of the box.

Not charged after 3-8 months, happened with 2 flashlights.

Works well at first, then doesn't charge. I've had one for 8 months. then it will not charge and it will turn on and then turn off for 2 seconds. So I ordered a new charger but it still wouldn't charge and turned itself off. I liked the design and the power of the light, so a year later I ordered the same one, thinking that the first one didn't last, it was an accident. It worked fine at first, but now after 3 months, the red light is flashing when charging, sometimes it charges normally…

Comparison between Stanley and NoCry

You can see from the video that Stanley has a more focused beam - it concentrates all the light in one spot, which actually makes it slightly brighter than NoCry (almost 2.2 times as bright ). as advertised) but given the run time difference and the waterproof, durable, well balanced and lightweight construction of the NoCry model, the NoCry offers the best value for my money. Operating time: maximum setting for Stanley 2 hours, for NoCry 6 hours. 2nd level for Stanley 7 hours, for NoCry 12…

Batteries don't last long. This is my second and it's broken

I got this headlight to take my dog at night so I can see. We live in a very forested area and many creatures live here. I got this light a while ago and after a few months it stopped working for me. I had to send it back for a replacement. I've had this headlight for about a year now and now the battery isn't holding a charge. I am very disappointed in this product. This is a great spotlight if you plan on buying them annually, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Save money and buy better…

Purchased 3/2/2017 Rarely used - mostly lying on desk. Bright light and actually it was exactly what I wanted, but I just want the charging adapter on the flashlight to not fall out a few weeks after the warranty has expired. Upon closer inspection, it still wasn't soldered. So it cannot be loaded. Tried to go to Stanley but they have Baccus LTD and I have to send them back fill out the form and send them to light and MAYBE they'll be in 14 days oh but wait that's a month out of warranty. So no

Three stars are best for handheld flashlights

Added a second of these flashlights that like this flashlight. Well my first experience with this light was excellent, I had to add another light to the mix and decided to reorder. I originally rated it a 5 but now after a few months of use I'm not very happy with it. It started well, holds a charge well and charges quickly. I went camping a few weeks ago and the light seemed fine. When I got home I put it on the charger and after about an hour it stopped flashing red and was flashing amber and

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Hard to tell

The beam has quite a bit of "overall" light in a wide cone, then a brighter area around it VERY bright center beam. That seems like an overstatement, but it helps provide context for what you're pointing at. You might find this headlight too big or too heavy, but I wanted it to be aimed at back roads and campgrounds when looking for a parking spot. a place to sleep in the national forest after dark and it does the job really well! Other reviewers questioned the runtime. I let it run for a…
