It's good if you attach a bedroll to your backpack. Not for climbing.

A thin but strong strap for attaching gear to a backpack, replacing a shoulder strap, attaching a gear strap, or compressing gear into duffel bags. Not strong enough for a "survival adventure" where it will support someone's weight.

It may be thicker but will work

I use them to attach various parts of the suit. Nothing too heavy but up to 15lbs have been used at the moment. I haven't tried anything else. It could have been thicker to feel stronger and it could hold up longer, but that would only make sewing more difficult. If you need this to carry and store a lot then this isn't what you want unless you plan on doubling it which would make this a doable amount for the price. Standard Nylon Webbing - As Expected

This webbing is of standard quality, nothing exceptional but certainly not low quality. I took this to create a custom waist belt for my Maxpedition backpack. This is not a super stiff heavy duty webbing, but rather a softer and more flexible webbing for a regular school backpack. It is true to size at 1.5 inches wide and 15 feet long.
