Easy installation best in spare parts

Excellent quality item. Installed and fits perfectly. This after research has shown this to be the best thermostat. Even with a rubber seal.

I paid about $40 for it for a few months.

A few months ago I paid about $40 to replace another stant I bought. I finally installed it but it won't connect to the outlet. I tried several times and the case changed the gasket. Don't waste your money, I would like my money back but it's been more than 30 days.

Looks and feels the same as the Toyota says no problem

Currently 300 miles on a 2005 Toyota Tacoma, looks and feels the same as the Toyota says no problem. I originally removed it to keep the engine cool and since we live in California I don't think cars need it. Then my check engine light came on and it said the engine was running cold. I also noticed that it uses more gas. By the time I realize it, I've already thrown it away. Lesson learned = new cars can tell you what they want.

STANT 180 DEGREE THERMOSTAT WITH HOUSING

Excellent thermostat! MY LOCAL PARTS DEALER (NOT A TOYOTA DEALER THAT WAS EVEN ABOVE) WANTED $72 FOR THIS THERMOSTAT. Can't tell it apart from an original Toyota factory thermostat. 180 degrees is the right temperature for a 2004 4runner V-6 according to (factory specs!). I did some research about it. I hope this information is helpful to some of you! (STANT is a VERY GOOD COMPANY!) I have been using their thermostats in all my cars for over 30 years with no problems! (No one is paying me to do
