Star Wars Children's Awaken Costume Review

I would give 0 stars if I could, part of the gloves are HUGE and the hole is very small like it wouldn't even fit my 3- fit year-olds.

I have a little 6 year old and these gloves were HUGE for him! They were universal, but definitely not suitable for small children.

This is not a child size. I'm 5ft 2in and they look bigger than my own gloves. I bought these for my 7 year old and could already tell they wouldn't fit unless he wants to look like a clown. If you think my review is helpful, please vote so it helps others too. Thanks very much!

It's cool and definitely looks good. They are listed as 'kids' gloves but they are so large my 7 year old's fingers get lost in the palm of the glove and have trouble getting into parts of the fingers. After a lengthy battle, he is able to do so and appropriately grabs his lightsaber to fight within them.

These sizes are absolutely not suitable for children. I'm an adult and they just fit in my hand. It says 6+ but my 5 year old can't even come close to picking them up. And the elastic hole is very tight. I had to squeeze my hand and it was very tight on my very small wrist. They're very well made and feel like they'll withstand anything a child might throw at them, but they're just not suitable for young children. Plus the price was great. Disappointed, they don't fit.

Unless they are an older teenager, these gloves probably won't fit your child. They appear to be small adult gloves with a very tight elastic band around the wrists as if that makes them suitable for a child. My 6 year old son swims in these gloves; Meanwhile, although the ribbing is snug, very snug, my wife who is almost 5ft 1in tall fits these gloves perfectly. Got two stars because they are at least well made - just not very well made for the average kid.

Although they looked perfect right out of the box they didn't fit my son's hand at all. I had to cut the elastic off my wrist so he could put it on his arm. However, after all this, they were on their hands for a long time. I really wish I had another option to choose from back then because it was just a waste of money. If your kid has super skinny, super long arms (in other words, if your kid is one of the Gray Aliens) then they might fit. Otherwise I would seriously look elsewhere.

glad I got them to finish my son's costume. My only issue was that they are quite large for a child's glove. The gloves fit my hands well and my son's hands floated in them (he didn't care). Hopefully for years to come he'll want to be Kylo Ren or some other character who needs gloves as he'll definitely grow into them. I think I'll consider these gloves for the next size up.
