Very sensitive to lights and ceiling fans

It does exactly what it says on the tin but a bit of noise can get in the way if I put the controller on a table for example. I was watching a movie and the subwoofer's bass cut him out too, but then I was about 15 feet away from him and he couldn't hear my popping.

So geeky, that's cool! on lighting and ceiling fans

My 20 year old son and I are both Bob Ross fans. Bob Ross died 5 years before my son was born, but my son found the video online and thought it was the coolest. . . "There lives a little tree, let's give it a friend!" What could be better than Bob Ross? Night clapper by Bob Ross! I knew my son would love the novelty. Works great and good quality. So defiant, it's cool.

  • Looks great

Great gift! for lamps and ceiling fans

Bought as a gift for my sister-in-law who is a big Star Wars fan. We both grew up at a time when clapper was in vogue, so it seemed pretty obvious to me that she should have it. She was over the moon with this gift and it's really fun to visit her house, talk to Dart and turn the lights on and off with a simple clap!

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Slightly torn

I love Darth Vader's voice but I hate his sensitivity

I have this behind my bed and sometimes I bang my hand on the bedpost. The light comes on in the middle of the night. Sometimes I put the remote control on the bedside table. At 2 a.m. he falls, hits the bed. a camera in this device, and someone in a distant galaxy is laughing at their own, but gone.

Pros
  • Quick Change
Cons
  • Infinitely Sluggish

Best Gift!: Night Lights

Best item I've bought in a long time. Works great, very interesting, my guests still think I'm a geek. It's really nice to be able to turn off the lights in your rooms with a shutter instead of other home automation. I used one of the voice control systems for a while but it only worked half the time. As long as I do a good clap (not clap), it works every time. And the voice along with him is just the icing on the cake. I would like to have more characters, I would put one in every room.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

Charming idea. terrible product.

It turns on and off when the bed creaks but when we clap to turn on the light it's a problem. We had to applaud 6 or 7 times. What does that mean? If you are on honeymoon, Bob Ross' voice will herald his presence amidst your wedded bliss. Me and my partner don't turn it on, but I won't judge if you'll like it. When I get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom because I'm almost middle-aged, the light comes on. Always an additional shock accompanied by sudden cold air and discomfort

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Not sure

Exactly what I expected.

Notable:1. You cannot turn off the audio voice. It's part of the experience and you have to live with it.2. My dog barks in the same room all day, about once a week he manages to get a bark. Pretty impressive.3. It has a 2-pin control input. It's only rated for 200W, so it's a good thing it doesn't support 3 pins.4. It slightly covers the top outlet when plugged into the bottom outlet. Pretty annoying, but ok. In any case, it is better to occupy the entire socket.5. If you hear a very loudโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Speed

Big fan of the Clappers and Baby Yoda - this is just perfect!

First of all, my husband is a big Clappers fan. They are in every room of our house and we use them to turn the lights on and off without getting up (e.g. after reading in bed when we are tired!). They are very comfortable, now I can't imagine not having them anymore. I was excited when I saw Baby Yoda's flapper came out because we're also big fans of The Mandalorian on Disney+. Very high quality popper has arrived - durable, cute and also works as a night light (which other clappers don'tโ€ฆ

Too sensitive, doesn't support 3 pens - looks good

Pros: - Looks good - not flashy or cheap. Detailed Vader head and looks high quality. - Voice of James Earl Jones when turning the device on and off. (I didn't expect that to say anything). - Definitely sensitive enough - it works. Cons: Well I think I have it in a terrible place, but others may be plotting the same thing. I have it right on my desk, controlling a light hanging above my desk. It's too sensitive and I can't see the sensitivity setting. It literally turns my light on and offโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Not automatic
