I purchased these mugs and when I checked them, the shipping box was in perfect condition. As soon as I took the cups out, they were completely broken.

These are normal cups. They certainly hold cold drinks well (coffee or tea for me). But the material is very thin. I thought it was some deal for two. I assumed they would resemble the thicker plastic Starbuck cold drink cups, but I was terribly wrong. I definitely use them, I like them but I don't think they will last long. This is a great cup to replace the disposable cups I usually buy for iced coffee. The only reason I took off a star is because the straws appear blue in the photo when they are actually green. I've seen this mug in a Starbucks store before but assumed I'd get a different color which would explain the slightly higher price. I know the description says matte but I thought they were a bit more translucent than they actually are. Also, I expected the plastic to be sturdy/durable. They bend to the point where I think they can easily break. The main disadvantage is that the lids don't fit well on the cups. The lids just sit on the cups, nothing stays on. I have absolutely nowhere to use them and I think I'm fine. I would ask someone to smack one and then they would pour out all of its contents. The lid comes off…
