I have been using this kettle every day for a little over two months now. I have no problem with its functionality because it boils water and has a gooseneck which is exactly what I was looking for. However, I've recently noticed that the area where the lid and rim of the teapot meet is starting to rust. For me it completely ruins the teapot. I'm not at all enthusiastic about the idea of buying a new kettle every 2 months for fear of rust flakes in the coffee.

Such a cute little teapot. It is quite small and fits well in your tea cabinet or coffee corner. As a result, the water heats up very quickly. A full kettle heats up in just a few minutes. This is a very pretty silver color with the CUTEEST neck. Designed to look like it's from the 19th century, it's perfect for a tea party or just a single serving of tea. It needs a little charging to work so you don't need a power outlet, an extension cord will do and it will heat up perfectly.

I've only had this a few weeks but I really like it so far. Heats a cup of water in less than 2 minutes. I added an instant read thermometer as they say the water temp for coffee should be 195-205F. I had to drill one of the vent holes in the lid slightly larger to accommodate the thermometer. Many gooseneck kettles have a thermometer in the lid, but very few kettles have this feature. Works well but after a few months of daily use I noticed mold was growing on the underside. I can't imagine how mold can grow in such an environment, in regularly boiled water and without food, but it does. It's difficult to clean the inside and putting it in the dishwasher seems unwise. This is particularly frustrating for me as I bought this on purpose because I found mold in the tank of my old coffee maker and couldn't get to the moldy parts to clean it. Very attractive kettle. I found it very attractive to the eye. It was very easy to install and prepare for first use. It heats up very quickly and I love that it shuts off automatically when it reaches temperature. This amount is enough to brew coffee in a French Press. I like the style, it's easier to control the fill. I think the price was very reasonable and the pot arrived exactly on the promised time in perfect condition.
