Not much to say about this. It came, it worked, it solved an unsolvable problem because I didn't have a connector where 4 pins could be broken off. It made the transition. I just want to preface that the power supply I bought won't work with the motherboard without this unit, so I might as well order it right away. If you're trying to get an old computer working, these parts are essential and I was happy to find them online and get them quickly.

This item works as advertised, albeit visually unassuming. I'm using it with a spare EVGA G2 750W PSU (outside the case) to rebuild a few Dell Dimension units (ALT I know) until the ordered full modular replacement PSU arrives (for installing inside). In these cases, there is no room for cable management. Making/purchasing a set of custom length power supply cords, while feasible, is NOT worth the investment of money or time. The description for "20-pin Motherboard PSU to 24-pin ATX to M/F PSU" does not clearly state which end is male and which which end is female. This isn't a problem if you work constantly with PC/ATX power supplies and Molex connectors, which most of us don't do. If that were the case, you would make your own adapter. I have a motherboard with a 20-pin ATX power connector. Sometimes these old motherboards can use the PSU's 24-pin connector (with 4 pins not connected together), but in my case a large inductor got in the way.
