This item works as advertised, albeit visually unassuming. I'm using it with a spare EVGA G2 750W PSU (outside the case) to rebuild a few Dell Dimension units (ALT I know) until the ordered full modular replacement PSU arrives (for installing inside). In these cases, there is no room for cable management. Making/purchasing a set of custom length power supply cords, while feasible, is NOT worth the investment of money or time. I wish this item was a few inches shorter to reduce the hassle of wiring. This item is required to work with 20-pin motherboard connectors. Otherwise well done StarTech.
