Correct contacts and exact match.

If you need an extension this works great. Quality straight out of the bag. Fits perfectly. I installed an upgraded graphics card with better quality on my grandson's computer. A much more powerful graphics card allows him to play any game and enjoy the virtual reality that I gave him for his birthday.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • For old

Munged color codes in A/V accessories

Yellow is ground, black is +12V. Pretty silly way to connect something. If you only use them as extensions, you won't notice the difference. On the other hand, if you're using them to power something else, keep that in mind.

Pros
  • Glitter
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

The perfect cable from the trusted StarTech.

My standard 8-pin ATX power supply cable was too short to reach behind my mainboard in a large gaming case. The extension is well made and costs less than $2. StarTech does great stuff and as an IT professional I use some of their equipment for work. Your stuff just works and this cable is no different.

Pros
  • understandable even for old people
Cons
  • Long waiting time

Works but be careful not to insert it upside down

Be careful not to insert it upside down it seems to be made of very soft plastic so a slight resistance is easy to overcome to square plugs plug into D-shaped plug connectors on the motherboard. Luckily the PSU protected itself and shut down before anything fried on my motherboard! If you meet *a* resistance, make sure you're inserting the connector the right way round.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Exactly what I needed.

I received a new computer case Thermaltake Core X71 Tempered Glass Edition Black ATX Gaming Full Tower. I install the PSU on the bottom of the case. the lower compartment offers space for a power supply unit. I reached all my cables except Nvida 1000w CPU cables. I had to order 2 of them, my AMD Ryzen 3950x needs 2 8pin. they worked great. I use this with MSI 570x Ace motherboard. I didn't overclock my processor because it's so fast.

Pros
  • change price

Perfect extension cord

Does exactly what it promises! My case and motherboard meant that routing an 8-pin cable didn't work with the cable management system. This cord gave it the perfect extra length to stay hidden behind everything and then pull out and plug in where I needed it.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • A few little things

PERFECT! Thank god they made it!

Ok, I had to put my PC in a gaming case because of the size of the new graphics card. If the overall power cable to the external power connection on the mainboard is too short, this problem first occurs. So I ordered this extension, PERFECT! So if you need a case for gamers, you'll probably need it to plug in your power cords!

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • High price
