This starter motor is a perfect match for my 1999 Husky 18.5hp Briggs & Stratton V-Twin engine lawn tractor. It was slightly shorter than the starter I removed, but that's not a problem. Make sure to use 2 wrenches when installing the cable. I already knew this, but the bolt's plastic base had shifted and cracked with minimal strength. Perhaps this is a sign of cheap materials. I was able to put it back on and complete the installation.
