Specifically designed for heavier LED bulbs with an extra sticky, super strong, patented suction cup. (Not intended for non-smooth surfaced bulbs.). A powerful thumb screw with embedded steel nut prevents stripping and locks pole securely. A free Bulb Cleaning Device is included for cleaning dusty old bulbs. Pre-assembled wire loops prevent hassle and improve reliability. A press-fit steel pin prevents suction cup rotation; patented support prevents bulb wobbling. Gripper and Pole NOT Included! (Our light-weight, quick-lock extension pole and Gripper style bulb changer are sold separately.).

The best - worth the money!

This Stauber light bulb converter is great! I've already gone through two standard amber bulb replacements. Over time, the rubber suction cup will lose its shape, resulting in a poor fit on the bulb and may result in the bulb falling off the suction cup and shattering on the floor. SEE ACCOMPANYING PICTURE OF MY OLD BULB CHANGER WITH THE WRONG VACUUM. The Stauber suction cup is made from a much more durable material and I'm sure it will hold up better over time. Good tool for changing bulbs! 2 small DIY tweaks improve performance

Not a bad tool for removing recessed lighting from high ceilings. The lamp changer is just a fixture, you need a broom or telescopic pole with regular threads to mount it. The suction is actually quite strong on the bulbs I removed, which are glass and have a very smooth surface. My replacement bulbs are plastic bodied LEDs, the surface is "rougher" than glass and doesn't seal as well with the suction cup. Solution: Wipe the surface of each replacement LED bulb with a damp cloth, then attach…

but hate leaving reviews

Unfortunately my Revain shopping history is hundreds of pages long but I hate leaving reviews. However, I have to make an exception with this product as it is both perfect and awesome. I hated balancing in a chair trying to turn silly lightbulbs on and off and this product wiped it all out. Somewhere in a parallel universe, my body was in a heap of broken bones from trying to change a lightbulb, but in this universe, with this product, that's not going to happen. I cannot rate the product…
