I bought these boots to walk my dog in the snow and ice this winter. The fit was fine, but I were a 9 and bought a 9. There is no half sizes. I have now been through 3 snow days and a couple ice days. They have been water proof for me. I again, do not live in an area that always has snow and use them for walks. These are pretty comfy, not a ton of arch support but all in all ok. My only complaint is that one of the metal pieces that the lace goes through snapped the first time I wore them. Unfortunately, my kids are ready to go play in the snow and I threw my old boots away, so I have to wear them. I would still recommend them. These boots are worth the dough. At first I wasn't sure if I would like them. It's clear they aren't made for comfort. I was looking for a boot that would keep my feet dry. I bought a size 11. It was probably the right size but they do run a little big.Bottom line- THEY WILL KEEP YOUR FEET DRY!

I do like these boots but I got the smallest size they had (6) and they only fit good with the thermal sock with fur that goes in it. I wore them for a vacation to the Colorado mountains and they held up for the most part but my toes did start to get a little cold after I walked in 2-3 feet of snow even though I was wearing two pairs of cabin socks. Overall they’re good but definitely recommend toe warmers if you’re using them for snow. They are very waterproof though as well!

Update : lost sale time so had to buy replacement for 10$ - seller did not respond to replacement request. Ordered an 8 and the heel does lift with the toe area being just as tight as the size 7.Odd fit. If you can’t buy boots in store then these are ok, I’d recommend sizing to your normal and just wearing thick socks if you can with the small toe area - if not size down to their chart for a snug fit normal sock. I knew we were going to get a lot of snow so I thought I would go ahead and get a pair of boots to be prepared. We ended up getting 10 inches of snow and these boots were not a disappointment! The are comfortable and warm and my feet stayed dry while I was outside shoveling the snow and getting the snow off of our cars. I wear a 9 and they fit fine; they do run a little wide, but I think that would allow for a pair of thick socks. All-in-all, they are a great boot!
