I ordered these boots after I learned the hard way that my waterproof boots were not so waterproof. I froze my butt off at an outdoor concert when it was unseasonably cold for the fall, and walking through puddles to get there resulted in wet and freezing feet. I immediately ordered these so that next time I will be prepared. They were a bit of a splurge but they are definitely worth it! They’re very warm, they are rubber from the bottom to the tops of my feet to prevent leaks, and the inside removes for cleaning which is a neat feature. I’m a fairly consistent size 8 although I often wear a half size up in boots to allow for thick socks, but these boots are only available in whole sizes so I went with an eight and they fit fine with a little room. I would say they fit a little more like an 8.5, but with the lining there is definitely a little give. They also feel good, The way they lace allow you to adjust the tightness a lot so that gives you kind of a custom fit.
