Great Boots for Hunters

These boots are awesome. I bought them to hunt in this year and have not been disappointed. They are extremely comfortable. I have to hike about 20 minutes to and from my tree stand and I can barely feel the ground in these things. They are also very well insulated, which during the hot months can be a bad thing, but they are going to be very warm in the winter. I haven't had them near water, but I have walked several mornings through dew drenched fields and never felt a drop on the inside. I…

Pros
  • Men
Cons
  • The boots are not suitable for people with wide feet

I've seen better for the price

I've seen better for the price, but never had to test insulation qualities as the weather was mild for the entire rifle season in Michigan and I had other boots more suitable for the weather.

Pros
  • Slightly small & I still ordered 1 size larger boot.
Cons
  • The boots are too bulky for comfortable movement

Get 2 sizes bigger!

These boots are light and look to be well made, the next 5 months will tell the truth. Seem to run a little small! I ware size 9 but get size 10 when buying boots, I could have used size 11.

Pros
  • They are ok and seem to work ok. But warmer now so will use this coming fall more.
Cons
  • For 800 grams thinsilate they seem to only be at a 200 seeing as my feet still get cold in the freezer

I bought these for my son to wear for hunting in West Virginia. His feet always get really cold, but with these boots e said he was almost too warm! It was 20 degrees one morning and he was fine, so I would say these boots are awesome!

Pros
  • Fit as expected and kept my feet warm but the tread pattern could be better
Cons
  • Christmas gift last year and falling apart, only used while hunting

Great Boot but Run Narrow

These boots looked great when they arrived and with 800 Grams of insulation, I was really looking forward to wearing them for a late November hunt in the snow. They were perfect in the length, but really tight in width causing my toes to bunch up. I think they are a great boot for the price; they are just not wide enough. I DO NOT wear a wide shoe. All my other boots and shoes are normal width, so I'm not sure what happened here.

Pros
  • These fit great and were cheaper than local store that had them but was out when we wanted them.
Cons
  • The boots are uncomfortable to wear for extended periods of time

I have wore them a few times since I purchased .

I have wore them a few times since I purchased them. I have noticed my feet were wet from sweat a little on the top of my foot, but nothing to be dissatisfied with. On another occasion while walking in the field , a hard plastic piece near the ankle was rubbing my ankle raw due to the boot not being tied tight.

Pros
  • The Renegade 800 Insulated Hunting Boot features a waterproof upper, ensuring that your feet stay dry even in wet hunting environments
Cons
  • The boots are difficult to put on and take off due to the tight fit

hunting boots in my review

I bought the boots a I/2 size larger to accommodate hunting socks and they were still too small. The boots aren't very warm either. They would be fine for bowhunting in temperatures above freezing but aren't warm enough for temps below freezing.

Pros
  • 12 x 8 x 4 inches; 1.5 Pounds
Cons
  • The boots are not suitable for hot weather as they retain heat

Very cheap and falls apart fast

I've had these boots for less than 2 months and the bottom rubber soles have already come unglued. Very cheaply made and I'm very upset as I went hunting this weekend and my feet were cold and wet from the hike.

Pros
  • Hiking Boots
Cons
  • The boots have a tendency to catch on underbrush and other outdoor barriers

Great value for cold weather boots!

I ordered these boots with some concern due to the low price compared to the high end brands at WorkNGear where I purchase all my work shoes from. I work in the construction inspection field and have to be in the frigid cold all day at times, in wet and very cold conditions. I used to put the hot hands foot warmers in my older work boots and it would be fine for an hour and then I start feeling my toes freezing up. These boots are by far the most comfortable and kept my feet very warm through…

Pros
  • The high-quality materials used in the construction of this boot ensure durability and longevity, making it a reliable option for your next hunting trip
Cons
  • The boots are not suitable for people with bunions

warm boots: my feedback

very warm in cold whether. Reasonably comfortable for the size, etc. Wore on a five hour hike. Preferred hiking boots given terrain but decided to where these boots due to water/mud issues. Feet stayed dry and warm.

Pros
  • Nice boots
Cons
  • The boots are not available in half sizes

Five Stars because this is the best boot on market.

The boots were just as advertised. I can only wear one pair of socks they are so warm. I have purchased three pairs of these boots. These boots are light and warm. I have given two pairs one to my son and one to one of my friends and they think they are outstanding.

Pros
  • The boot's lightweight construction doesn't compromise on its durability, making it an ideal option for extended hunting trips
Cons
  • The boots are not comfortable to wear while sitting for extended periods of time

Northside Renegade 800

Great boots. I purchased a half size larger than I wear. Figured if they were big I could wear thick socks. They fit great. Super light weight.

Pros
  • Great boots feel and look great. Keep my feet warm during the cold months in these Wisconsin winters.
Cons
  • The boots are heavy and tiring to wear

Price changed to costly.

Got them for a low price. tried to buy two more pairs for the fam and the price jumped up 50% great boot. But not worth the huge price jump. theyre alright not the greatest but theyll do.

Pros
  • Great boot fits sung with a heavy winter sock.
Cons
  • fit ok ish. could of gone half size bigger if available

Great Item for my opinion

I got these at the end of the hunting season, just as the weather was turning colder and could not be more happier with this purchase. If the need arises I will be getting another pair. They fit great, but I wish they were a little wider as I like to wear several pair of thick socks.

Pros
  • My dad really likes these, asked me to buy him a second pair for to gift
Cons
  • The zippers on the boots are prone to breaking

Not waterproof at all

These boots are very comfortable and warm but are not waterproof at all. First time wearing them my feet got wet walking through mud, not even pooled up water. Spend your money on something that really is waterproof

Pros
  • The sturdy construction of this boot offers excellent ankle support, reducing the risk of injury and improving your overall hunting experience
Cons
  • The boots are not well-ventilated and cause an unpleasant odor
