perfect size - Paper and Paper Crafts

This is my second Steady Betty. My first was loved more and still loves. I have this 12x12 to put right by the side of my sewing area so I don't have to pace to press while I sew my quilt pieces.

Pros
  • Crafts
Cons
  • So far so good

Fabric stays in place when ironed

This really holds the fabric to iron quilt seams. When the sewn fabric is laid on the surface, it stays in place and does not move, allowing the seams to remain straight or curved as sewn, rather than puckering and ruining the design or tearing and re-stitching the seam.

Pros
  • Arts, Crafts & Sewing
Cons
  • Not sure

Be sure to have embroidery equipment.

I love this product for hooping fabric for embroidery. I had a large one but wanted a smaller one so I could easily carry it to class and sewing. It's handy to place over a messy work area and turn a blank board into a hoop, or lay out a quilt block, etc. I think its main purpose is for ironing, but I don't use it for that. I think this is a MUST HAVE in my quilting/embroidery supplies.
