Missing Puzzle Pieces

When you receive this one, first check all the pieces. Mine arrived but a part was missing including the tools needed to assemble the kit.

Not worth the money.

I bought this as a gift for an avid fashion designer. Which ended up in the trash. He said the metal parts were bent and broke easily.

Cons
  • Nothing here

Pretty neat for a tin model.

First, this thing is made of bent sheet metal. It's not fine mechanics. After being wound up, it only travels about a meter. Mechanics and gears have a strong tendency to jam. But come on, it's made of bent sheet metal! That he can actually move is an achievement.

An interesting but challenging project.

I'm still working on it, but there have been times when I've wished for a better direction. However, I am building it. The quality of the kit is very good. About half of the parts are tank tracks, so working on them is very repetitive, that's sort of the nature of the beast, but be prepared for that. All in all, if you're looking for a fun project, this could be a good and fun choice.

  • Best in Niche
Cons
  • Very Expensive

waste of money. Unfortunately.

I thought this would be a great project for my son. HAD NOT! I'm a very mechanical person and I still haven't been able to finish this project. It didn't come with the tools in the picture. The instructions aren't very clear on which parts to use in specific areas. The mechanism doesn't work! Now 3/4 of the way through and I'm still missing more details. I'll throw it away because I can't even finish it as a display. wasting $70.

Pros
  • Great overall work
Cons
  • Good but not great

Important information before you start.

Watch YouTube before opening the box. Focus on the assembly process of "bent legs", stamped metal structures. A little caution. With a curved tongue design you'll get two maybe three shots into the right design, "repeat" READ SO and make sure before you bend. Suggestions: A nice touch would be a folding handle. A good accessory would be 2 side walls with cannons etc. military supplement. I'm just saying... I'm an ex-tanker.

Let's see if they have item

I am an active 3D metal modeler and have built over 600 models, mostly in the Metal Earth style. Time for a Car hit the radar a few years ago, and there was quite a bit of excitement in the community. Those interested in the hobby were amazed that there was a company that not only gave you a great looking build but also moved forward. Models from other companies are complex and amazing in their own right, but they are static, they just sit and look beautiful. I wanted to try Time for Machine a…
