A beautiful addition to any dress

I bought a mid-length skirt with a circlet. It's metallic red taffeta with ruffles all around and long red tulle down each side. The center bodice is brought together and sewn together to create a bustle of sorts. It is held by two long straps of the same material. Several threads stick out and a tie does not reach the end. Slight corrections. I'm short and don't wear heels, so even with a hoop skirt it stretches a bit. I tried to take as many photos as possible myself with a mirror. Overall…

Not a skirt but a bustle - front made of polyester tulle - doesn't look remotely like the picture

The back of the "skirt" looks like the picture you see here but not the front. In burgundy, the back is fine burgundy taffeta and the front is bright scarlet tulle. Not only is this unsuitable for pirate, Victorian, or steampunk cosplay, it's also terribly unattractive. "Skirt" is too tight and smaller than promised. The taffeta really only starts at the sides and only covers the buttocks like a waterfall, so if you need a ruffle, be sure to take it, cut out the tulle and use it as a ruffle…

I ordered an XL and this is how it fits

I am 5ft 6" and 190lbs. Tulle at front. So plan for it. I would suggest buying something for it. For my height it doesn't drag or touch the ground at all and I consider myself to be of average height. I will add that I have a short waist (short torso) with long legs. My legs are as long as 6 foot males, with a long waist and shorter legs. So everyone is different. My only complaint, if any, is that the fabric is shiny and cheap looking, making it look like a suit due to the fabric. I prefer…

The size you want would make more sense - because it would be PERFECT

This skirt is so cute and has so much potential! I ordered a size small from the size chart and am always small so it made sense when I read the measurements. But I would definitely add. Although my waist measurements are within the small measurements listed in the size chart, there is an opening of about 6-8 inches in the front where the skirt ties. This means that it does not close and does not leave a gap. I think I could improvise and wear black leggings but that wouldn't make sense for…
