It looks like it might work for some cars. I bought it specifically for VW - small pins and it doesn't seem like the right tool. A friend has a certified VW mechanic and he can't get it to work either! Looks something wrong

Trash, that's trash. I tried to use them on my Audi 03 and the 2 tools I thought fit didn't work at all. They are a weakly stamped metal that is glued to the handle. They flex easily and the chrome finish on one of mine started peeling the first time I used it. I had to send them back. They didn't feel like they were of good quality and they should be longer as I have big hands. I sent the kit back and got the Matco tool I needed and the Stahlwille extractor I needed to get the job done.

I used this 5 years ago to fit the taillight connector on my Audi 05 Audi and there was only one tool in this kit , which could work remotely. I struggled to free the clamps and managed to damage one because the notches on the tool are too big. I tried to order a Lisle 57750 terminal tool and it fits perfectly! Just received this set, looks like they will work. I tested it on a trailer that was nearby and it worked. It has a wide range of fork, blade and round types. As such, the case looks crappy, but it should last at least for a while. The biggest problem is the quality. They look like the low quality Chinese stuff you find at HF. The one that says it's designed to cut wire harnesses without damaging wires had a large nick on the blade. I used my fine blade knife sharpener to smooth it out which…
