🔧 Performance Tool W80533 3/8" Drive Spark Plug Socket, 5/8" Size Review

Long but not deep rosette. Its depth is only 2 inches and more than half of the path is solid. There is a step of about 1 inch, then the maximum depth is 2-1/4 inches.

This has worked well on several jobs I've used it on. With the short socket extension, he was able to easily remove all 8 spark plugs from the Ford Mustang GT.

A good spark plug and socket replacement tool has a rubber insert to hold the spark plugs in the socket. This tool is good for removing large threaded spark plugs in the cylinder head.

This spark plug is long but NOT extra deep. It has the same depth as a normal spark plug socket and prevents the removal of spark plugs that are too long. In fact, it is an extension cord and a normal candle cartridge.

Spark plug replacement required on my 2010 Audi A5. holds the fork well, maybe too well. When I put it back in the socket, the ratchet disengages it before it comes out of the socket. No big deal and easy to overcome.

I offered it on my generator. That helped. It's a good heavy piece with a quality feel. I don't think I need a hinge joint; takes a little getting used to, but it works. No complaints.

I was looking for a socket that was hollow and deep enough to fit a spark plug with a broken spark plug wire connector. solution until I get it. On the inside it is flat and designed for a regular spark plug, but on the outside it has a longer body.

The tool worked well on the first two spark plugs then it stopped holding the plugs. I had to use needle nose pliers to remove and install the remaining plugs. I think the rubber grip is pushed in too far. It should also be made slightly longer so that no lengthening is required. I wouldn't, but that's it again.
