Cool concept but poorly translated for use

I wanted to give this mouse a higher rating than the ones I've designed for gaming. It has a lot of great features that look great on paper, but it's DIFFICULT. The location of the extra side button on the mouse is also a bit awkward which is a shame as I bought a mouse for an extra side button that would allow me to bind buttons in WoW as I didn't want the naga. Also, the side buttons sometimes creak when pressed quickly, which is uncomfortable. These two things alone make me a little…

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Not as thick as other models

I've had this mouse a little less than a year but the problems started about 6 months after purchase. The right click doesn't always work and happens all the time during use. I assumed something was stuck in the mechanism and blew everything out with air, but the problem persisted. Back then, I looked at an RMA at SteelSeries, only to find out that they were for warranty-only products purchased direct from their website. Break the tab holding the right click. Although the problem still occurs…

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Quality mouse with lots of options

I have used many good mice over the years and have always found it difficult to find the right size for my hand, even on days when I am off house was going shopping. Some were simply irregular in shape; some were just huge. This mouse is as good as I know it fits my right hand in shape and size. Lots of options in the software for gaming profiles and button remapping. While I'm not a huge fan and certainly don't need the color changing icons, they do look pretty cute. I've had this mouse for…

Pros
  • Top marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Requires an outlet

Inconsistent - PC

The mouse feels good in the hand thanks to its texture and side grips. The software is not bloated. The software is mostly intuitive and highly customizable. Sometimes the software can crash when trying to run the app, but for me the simple solution was to disable the services associated with the app and restart it. The Discord integration is a nice feature, but it could be improved by adding more options for specific notifications and a setting to show those notifications longer. In addition…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design

By far the best mouse I've ever used!

Like most gamers, I've had a few mice over the years. Some of them seemed capable of gliding through the air, and some had more than enough buttons for my style. However, none of my previous mice had everything I needed. Meet the SteelSeries Rival 710! This mouse has it all! Heart-pounding, all the function keys I've ever wanted, smooth and easy gliding, and pinpoint precision. However, it has more! Because both the laser and cable are modular and interchangeable, I never have to worry about…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Easily repairable

I am a mouse collector

These are the SteelSeries models I'm reviewing. Firstly it can be said that I have a huge range of mice, I have Rival310, Sensei310, Sensei [RAW] and the last one, Rival710. I also reviewed the Razer series. SteelSeries RIVAL710 After a mixture of emotions, disappointments and money spent, I came to the conclusion that these mice are not suitable for the big "e-sports". I mainly use Logitech G403. No SteelSeries "gaming mouse" can compete with the G403. The feel on my hand is much better with…

  • Absolutely amazing!

  • So far so good

Very comfortable for long sessions.

My previous mouse died after 2.5 years of use (quite disappointing for a high end mouse) so I decided to switch companies and try something different. While I've used SteelSeries mousepads before, I've never bought their peripherals, so putting the money into a high-end mouse was a bit of a leap of faith. I don't really play games anymore, but I tend to think gaming mice have some of the best ergonomics for long sessions, and that's certainly true here. Build quality feels premium right out of…
