As previously mentioned, this cable will not fit the Evinrude trolling motor.

In order for this cable to fit an Evinrude trolling motor, you would need to make permanent, irreversible modifications to the trolling motor. The average person most likely does not have the skills or tools to do this job adequately. The threads on each end of the cable are not the same as the OEM cable. You'll need to thread a piece into the pedals and a piece into the steering housing to install the cable. In addition, the steering housing must be drilled out to a larger diameter to…
