🔧 Carburetor Kit Stens 056-010 for Tecumseh 31840 Review

Nice kit, used to rebuild an old carburettor from an HS50. It worked great. I'll probably buy rebuild kits now instead of buying a new low quality carburetor.

This kit was purchased to rebuild a carburetor on a Toro snow thrower. I'm not necessarily feeling very comfortable, although I've decided to try. After watching a few videos on YouTube I was able to figure out what to do and successfully restore the carburetor. No complaints.

Perfect repair for my Tecumseh carburetor. Faster and easier replacement. Press Google for the initial settings of the main and slave jet screw (about 1.5 turns each) and then follow the prompts to cycle through the idle and main jet settings a few times until both are dialed in.

All parts were of high quality and fit perfectly as they should considering this is an original Tecumseh carburettor kit. carburetors, and they just aren't worth the time or effort. I don't care that other manufacturers kits and carburetors are free as long as OEM is available, I will buy that and install it.

This kit saved me money by rebuilding the carburetor on my chipper/grinder. The engine runs great, chop branches and leaves as it should. I just wish the gaskets were included for reinstalling the carburetor. I had to go to my local mower/small engine shop to get gaskets. Otherwise the kit got the car running!

Superb kit! There is everything you need to repair the Tecumseh carburetor. I used it to restore my 1971 Ariens snowblower and it works just as good as new! I noticed that before the overhaul I had to run the engine with partial choke in order for it to run properly. Now it just hums and starts without even having to step on the gas. High quality set with everything you need.
