Better for areas where the hand would interfere with using a swab such as B. the corners of the eyes or the mouth to apply medication to the throat or teeth. I wouldn't use it for the ears as the wood isn't flexible.

Not a very good cotton tip. Appears to be at least 50% smaller than a regular cotton swab. I love the length and the wood. For my purpose I would not order again.

These tampon pens are a waste of money. I bought these to help with gun cleaning, thinking a longer stick would work better than cotton swabs in some areas. The wooden stick is so thin and weak that it breaks before it can work! The idea is good, but the product itself sucks.

I use them to clean guns, mostly vintage guns. They made the job a lot easier. They are durable and absorbent enough to do their job well. People complain that they don't have enough cotton. I think that's a plus because they're a bit smaller and they get into smaller, hard-to-reach places. I am very happy with them and will buy them again
